Join us for lunch with the Town of Apex Planning Department and the RXR Developers behind Veridea! Amanda Bunce, Assistant Planning Director of the Town of Apex Planning Department will speak about future mixed-use development and potential changes to the Town of Apex UDO. In addition to Amanda presenting to the group, Sandra Raymond and Joe Graziose will speak about Veridea, a 1,100-acre mixed-use development in Apex, N.C., master-planned by RXR to create a vibrant, integrated community where people live, work and play together. Located two miles south of historic downtown Apex, Veridea will include an estimated 8,000 residential units, 12 million square feet of commercial and industrial space, and 3.5 million square feet of retail, hospitality and civic space. Veridea brings together the essential elements of modern community life—education, health and wellness—alongside dynamic residential neighborhoods and thriving commercial spaces. The development will be anchored by a Wake Tech Community College campus, NC Children's Hospital and a Wake County Public School System elementary school. Phase 1, which is currently underway, features 1,100 single-family homes and townhomes, 1,500 multifamily units, retail and dining experiences, and more than 1.3 million square feet of industrial and logistics space.
