A NC CCIM Stroll- Walking Tour of Downtown Tarboro

Join us for a morning walking tour of downtown Tarboro led by June and Lance Cherry, owners of the historic Old Cherry Inn, experienced entrepreneurs, real estate investors, and business owners. Explore downtown Tarboro through the perspective of investors who have actively participated in the community’s commercial and residential real estate markets. June and Lance will share their firsthand experience acquiring, renovating, and managing commercial properties in Tarboro, along with insights from their extensive portfolio of rental properties throughout Eastern North Carolina. The tour will begin at the Old Cherry Inn, circa 1859, where we will learn the history of the Inn, its recent preservation, tax incentives, and its current use as a short-term rental and event venue. June Cherry will guide us through seven additional properties in downtown Tarboro comprised of retail, office, and residential uses. Lunch will be provided at the end of the tour. The Cherrys own Big Rock Powersports & Marine (5 locations) and Yard Pro, giving them a unique perspective on entrepreneurship, real estate investment, and business development throughout North Carolina. This tour is designed for developers, investors, commercial real estate brokers, and others interested in learning more about Tarboro’s downtown investment opportunities directly from local business owners who are putting capital to work in the region.
